In this session, Meredith Harper will share her unique journey to become the vice president and global chief information security officer of Eli Lilly and Company. Along the way, Harper, as a minority and woman in technology, used challenging experiences to build her skills, her brand, and her teams while breaking the glass ceiling. She will spend time sharing those experiences to demonstrate how diversity, equity, and inclusion matter.
Bio
Meredith Harper joined Eli Lilly & Company in August 2018 as deputy chief information security officer. As of April 2019, she transitioned to the role of vice president, chief information security officer for Lilly’s global information security program. Over her 26-year career, she has emerged as a strategic leader who is not just interested in processes, goals, and objectives, but most of all she is passionate about her greatest assets -- her human capital. Her success has been attributed to her ability to manage large-scale complex programs that cross functional areas while advancing the skill sets of her team members.
