Ranson is the Assistant Director and Principal Project Manager with the Indiana University Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research (CACR). Ranson has more than 30 years of experience leading project teams in the Department of Defense and industry. Ranson’s major projects include Trusted CI, the NSF Cybersecurity Center of Excellence, Framework Cohort engagements and Research Infrastructure Security Community initiatives, as well as Indiana’s Local Government Cybersecurity Assessment Program, Cybertrack. Ranson is a graduate of St Martin’s University (M.S. in Engineering Management), US Air Force Air University (Masters of Military Operational Art and Science), and Savannah State University (B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology).
