Will Drake is a Senior Security Analyst and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the Indiana University Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research (CACR). Will has over a decade of IT and cybersecurity experience, holding various roles at Indiana University ranging from end-user IT support to ensuring the security of IU’s critical telecommunications infrastructure. In 2019, Will joined CACR and launched the highly successful SecureMyResearch service, which has gained national attention for its innovative approach to reducing cybersecurity and compliance burdens on researchers. He specializes in guiding research organizations through compliance challenges, helping them identify compliance strategies that are reasonable, effective, and mission-focused.
