Dr. Xukai Zou is an Associate Professor with Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. His research interests include applied cryptography and network security, in particular, secure group communication/secure dynamic conferencing, wireless networks, and analysis and design of computer algorithms. Dr. Zou has authored two books and published over fifty security-related papers on group/conference key management for secure group communications and secure dynamic conferencing.

He has served as a member of a number of technical program committees , member of editorial boards, and a reviewer for many international organizations, international conferences and international journals. He is a recipient of the U.S. National Science Foundation grant: secure group communication over wired/wireless networks (CCR-0311577) and the leading author of the book published by Springer: Secure Group Communication Over Data Networks.
