Hauke Bahr is a Senior Project Manager at the Indiana University Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research, with nearly two decades of experience leading complex IT-focused projects and high-performing teams at national as well as international companies in the life sciences, L&D, entertainment, and AgTech spaces. As a contributor to Trusted CI (the NSF Cybersecurity Center of Excellence), Hauke manages the Software Security Framework development project and is slated to lead additional initiatives in 2026. He also oversees CACR’s internal Cybersecurity Program and manages Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) assessments, along with conducting assessments for Indiana’s Local Government Cybersecurity Assessment Program (Cybertrack).
Hauke specializes in translating program visions into actionable plans, fostering seamless team collaboration, and designing tools and processes that drive measurable outcomes.
He occasionally leverages his background in software development from an earlier stage in his career for peripheral initiatives and tool development in his current role.
Hauke holds a dual BA in Philosophy and Art History from the University of Oslo, Norway, and the PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute.
