
Before retiring in 2020, Mark served as Associate Vice President for Public Safety and Institutional Assurance, with responsibilities in both OVPPP (police, environment health and safety, emergency management, physical security) and OVPIT (cybersecurity, digital privacy, data management). He participated in creation of CACR and has been involved in a variety of Center initiatives. In 2002, he was co-founder of the IU-based Research and Educational Networking Information Sharing and Analysis Center (REN-ISAC) and served as its inaugural Executive Director. Since 2003, Mark has been engaged in leading teams of professionals assessing security at a variety of colleges and universities.
