Indiana University Designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Research (CAE-R)

The National Security Agency and the Department of Homeland Security has designated Indiana University as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Research (CAE-R) through academic year 2021. In a letter sent to the Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research it was stated that the center's "ability to meet the increasing demands of the program criteria will serve the nation well in contributing to the protection of the National Information Infrastructure." Presentation of a certificate will take place at a formal ceremony in June 2015.
