This year's CACR Security Matters Cybercamp keynote presentation will be given by Johnathan Sweeny, FBI Computer Scientist, and is open to the public. There is no charge to attend the keynote presentation.
About the presenter:
Jonathan Sweeny graduated from Indiana University in 2004 and then worked there for nine years, including seven years managing an IT Security team which responded to 10,000 incidents annually. Sweeny holds a number of certifications in Information Security and Forensics and is currently wrapping up a master's degree in Information Security Engineering.
Sweeny joined the FBI in 2013 as a Computer Scientist on the Indianapolis Division's cyber squad which focuses on investigating computer intrusions. As a Computer Scientist, Sweeny assists with any investigation that involves complex technologies such as malware or network traffic analysis. Additionally, Sweeny is a member of the elite Cyber Action Team which deploys around the world in response to large-scale complex computer intrusions and he develops curriculum and teaches computer intrusion investigative skills at the FBI Academy.
