Mailyn Fidler is a graduate of Stanford University, where she studied the intersection of technology and policy. She completed a thesis on governance of the "Internet of Things," interviewing experts in eight countries. Her second thesis investigated security implications of the global trade in "zero-day" software vulnerabilities. Fidler has worked as a policy consultant at Google and interned at the U.S. National Telecommunications and Information Administration. In 2014, Fidler will attend Oxford University as a Marshall Scholar, where she plans to pursue an MPhil in International Relations. Afterwards, she will attend Yale Law School.
