Mark Bruhn

Mark Bruhn is Associate Vice President for Telecommunications and Executive Director of the Research and Education Network Information Sharing and Analysis Center (REN-ISAC) at Indiana University, providing executive leadership to telecommunications operations and management for core campus networks, inter-campus networks, state-wide networks (including I-Light and the Indiana GigaPoP), and various regional, national, and international networking initiatives. Mark was instrumental in establishing the IU-based REN-ISAC (http://www.ren-isac.net). Mark is also Associate Director of the IU Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research (http://cacr.iu.edu), and a member of the executive committee of the Internet2/EDUCAUSE Computer and Network Security Task Force.

Fred H. Cate

Fred H. Cate is a Distinguished Professor at the Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington and director of the Indiana University Center for Applied Cybersecurity Research. He specializes in privacy, security, and other information law issues, and appears regularly before Congress, government agencies, and professional and industry groups on these matters. Professor Cate is a senior policy advisor to the Center for Information Policy Leadership at Hunton & Williams and a member of Microsoft's Trustworthy Computing Academic Advisory Board, the National Academy of Sciences Committee on Technical and Privacy Dimensions of Information for Terrorism Prevention and Other National Goals, and the board of editors of Privacy & Information Law Report. He also serves as reporter for the American Law Institute's project on Principles of the Law on Government Access To and Use of Personal Digital Information. He is the author of many articles and books, and appears regularly in the popular press. A senator and fellow of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and an elected member of the American Law Institute, Professor Cate received his J.D. and his A.B. with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University. He is listed in Who's Who, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, and Who's Who in American Education. In 2007 Computerworld listed him as the only academic on its list of "Best Privacy Advisers" in the United States and Europe.

Marianne Chitwood is the Operations Manager for I-Light, Indiana's statewide higher education optical fiber network. I-Light dramatically improves Indiana's position as a national leader in very high-speed networking in support of teaching, learning, research, technology transfer, and inter-institutional collaboration and cooperation – activities that will help fuel the state's economy. Marianne joined Indiana University in 1980 and has had various responsibilities for IU's regional campuses telecommunications and inter-campus networks. Marianne also served four years as Director-at-Large for ACUTA, the Association for Communications Technology Professionals in Higher Education

Brett Davis graduated in 2007 from Purdue University with a B.S. in Computer Technology.  He is currently working as an IT Security and Privacy Analyst in the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology. His duties include leading security and network software development projects and coordinating the development of the Purdue Network and Security Operations Center.

Gabriel Iovino is a Principal Security Engineer with the Research and Education Networking Information Sharing and Analysis Center (REN-ISAC). The REN-ISAC is an integral part of higher education's strategy to improve network security through information collection, analysis, dissemination, early warning, and response. Gabriel holds a Masters degree in Network Security from Capitol College and a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University. Before joining the REN-ISAC Gabriel worked for Indiana University in the following areas, support center, messaging support and information security.

Stephen Jones is the Chief Systems Architect and Associate Vice President of the Office of Instructional, Administrative & Information Technology at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He provides technical direction and oversight for information technology initiatives at Rose-Hulman, including hardware and software platforms and networking. Stephen spent 21 years as a civilian employee of the U.S. Department of the Army, beginning as a geotechnical engineer and ending as the Chief Technologist at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center Major Shared Resource Center before coming to Rose-Hulman in January 2001. He is a member of the EDUCAUSE/Internet 2 Security Task Force Effective Practices & Solutions Working Group.

Matt Light is a Deputy Attorney General in the Office of Indiana Attorney General, Steve Carter. Matt joined the office in November 2005 after receiving his J.D. from Indiana University Bloomington earlier that year. During his time in the Attorney General's office, Matt has focused on consumer protection litigation, legislative policy, identity theft, and data security issues. He serves as legislative liaison for the office, and also acts as supervising attorney for the newly created Identity Theft Unit.

Addam Schroll

Addam Schroll is an IT security and privacy analyst with Purdue University, working in the Office of the Vice President for Information Technology. His duties include acting as an incident handler as part of the Purdue STEAM-CIRT and advising other departments on security related matters. Addam graduated from Purdue University in 2000 with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics. In 2002, he also received a M.S. in Computer Science from Purdue. Addam previously worked for CIAC – the Department of Energy's Computer Incident Advisory Capability – as an incident responder, and as a computer scientist for MITRE Corporation.

Lisa J. Berry-Tayman

Lisa J. Berry-Tayman focuses her practice on information management. She assists clients with electronic discovery and record management challenges, such as retention, collection and production of electronically stored information and documents, development and implementation of retention policies and procedures, and business process analysis.

Lisa's experience is derived from a variety of settings, including private practice, government practice and work in private industry. Prior to joining Baker & Daniels, she practiced in the tort division at Shook Hardy & Bacon LLP in Kansas City, Mo., gaining experience as a litigator with discovery issues and motion practice. Lisa is a former Assistant Attorney General with the Missouri Attorney General's office. Before returning to her legal practice, Lisa worked for a national litigation support group, where she assisted clients involved in complex litigation by managing large-scaled discovery and document collection projects.
